 547 Applications submitted for 208 social housing apartments - 6/20/2010
After the notification for allocating a total of 208 social housing apartments, built in accordance with the Programme for construction and maintenance of apartments owned by The Republic of Macedonia in the cities of Ohrid, Kicevo, Kavadarci, Kocani and Kriva Palanka, issued on 04.17.2010 in daily printed media, the Centers for Social Work received a total of 547 applications.

Minister Janakieski presented the water supply and waste water disposal project - 6/14/2010
 We would like to inform you that today the Minister for Transport and Communications, Mile Janakieski, met with the Mayors and the heads of departments of municipalities in the Skopje planning region, to whom he presented the possibilities for utilisation of the funds from the European Investment Bank aimed at improving the utility infrastructure in line with the “Water supply and waste water disposal” project.

We would like to inform you that the best bidder of the public bidding for the sale of construction land, which is property of the Republic of Macedonia, by a public bidding intended to build Health institutions—small commercial and business activities in the Municipality of Karpos deposited the funds within the prescribed period of 15 days from the public bidding. For the location with a total area of 8.400 m2, PHO “Philip II” from Skopje deposited 105.000.000 denars (MKD), pursuant to the final price reached at the public bidding of 12.500 denars (MKD) for a square meter.

Minister Janakieski visited the Municipality Petrovec - 6/2/2010

Submitted 8 requests for participation in the procedure for concession of roads - 5/20/2010
We would like to inform you that today at the Ministry of Transport and Communications there was opening of the received applications upon the public call for participation in the procedure for granting concession for performing the construction, maintenance, toll collection and use part of public roads in the Republic of Macedonia which was published in domestic and international media and on the Internet. A total of eight companies submitted Applications for participation in the procedure.

Solemn opening of the new athletic track in Ohrid- - 16.5.2010 - 5/16/2010
In Ohrid officially was put in use the new athletics track of the sport-recreation center “Biljanini izvori” in Ohrid today in the presence of the Minister of Transport and Communications Mile Jankieski, chairman of the athletic federation of Macedonia Cvetko Grozdanov, Director of the Agency for Youth and Sport Dime Spasov, President of the Macedonian Olympic Committee Tupurkovski and famous world recorder in pole vault Sergey Bubka the new athletics track was put into service as well as the first athletic contest on the new tartan base. - What a few years ago was just a dream of athletes, today' is a reality. The athletics track is one of the most modern in the Balkans and hopefully will contribute to achieving top results in athletics, noted Cvetko Grozadanov, announcing that the same base will be set next year on the athletic path in National Arena "Philip II" in Skopje.
