Housing policy is one of the priorities in the Programme of the Government of Republic of Macedonia and the Ministry of Transport and Communications, which are realized through a number of projects aimed at building new residential units, thus allowing the issue of providing housing for many of our fellow citizens to directly improve living standards and social image of our society.

It is my great honour to distribute the first licenses for preparation of urban plans to the legal entities that participated in the spatial planning, thus realizing part of the reform measures that the Ministry of Transport and Communications undertook in the recent period, through the preparation of the Laws in the sphere of urbanism and construction, that provided simplified procedures and better conditions not only for the citizens but also for the participants in the process of planning and construction.

The short presentation that you could see just reminded us of part of the projects and activities of the ministry in the last 100 days in which we dedicated ourselves to fulfill what we promised to the citizens, so as to provide better infrastructure, entry of new investments and improved economic conditions for all the citizens. Today, after this period of 100 days of the mandate of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, I can assure you that we will continue with the same dynamics in the future as well, to work 24 hours, 7 days per week, not stopping at any point, in order to work for stabile, economically developed and prosperous Macedonia.

It is my greatest pleasure that today, together with you, I can take part at the official implementation of the System for quality management, in line with the required standard ISO 9001:2000.

The urbanization of the populated settlements in the Republic of Macedonia and the building of the infrastructure is of significant importance for the citizens since it shall provide better life standard and economic boost not just for the municipality but also for the whole country.

Respected journalists, The aim of today’s press conference is to inform you about the determined proposed criteria by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia that shall be proposed to the Agency for electronic communications so as to allow implementation of the digital TV in our country.

As a result of the successful operations during the previous year, the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, through series of specific measures for facilitation of the entry of foreign investments, among the other, provided for creation of suitable climate for the purposes of the development of the construction area.
